Hi, I’m Kay the DV survivor. With my three little children, I have successfully escaped from my ex-husband few years ago.
And faced non-Japanese DV victims living in the DV shelter and “BOSHI-SEIKATSU-SHIENSHISETSU where I belonged to.
They seemed difficult to find information about Japanese DV protection systems, so I’ve been trying to share some English information about the system as well as counseling hotlines for DV victims.
I take general questions about shelter and BOSHISEIKATSUSHIENSHISETSU which functions as secondary DV shelter. Feel free to contact me through “contact form“.
Emergency numbers you should know
Living in Japan, these are the numbers you should know.

| Ambulance | #119 | Receptionist askes you “Fire or Ambulance?”(Kaji desuka?Kyukyu desuka?) |
